How many guests will be at each event? A: Between 12 and 20, depending on the size of the host yacht, and the event celebrity’s preference
What are the hours of each event? A: There will be up to three events each day… at 10 am, 12 noon, and 2 pm. If more reservation requests are made and the celebrity feels that another event will not be too taxing, we can add another one at 4 pm
Who will the celebrities be? A: We are now in the process of negotiating with several celebrities that have requested their names not be mentioned at this time, due to contractual negotiations with other similar types of events around the country. If you join our update list, you will automatically be notified every time another celebrity has been added to our ‘active’ list and agreed to appear at one or more of our events
When will the events begin? A: We’re ready right now, but can’t start until finalizing agreements with the celebrities. Hopefully we can start to inform the people on our mailing list of updates as early as November
How many events will be scheduled during each week? A: Because the celebrities are usually traveling to other events for weekend appearances, and also to avoid causing any inconvenience to the Marina del Rey boating community (parking etc.), we are only planning to start with events during the week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays – but nothing is etched in stone, so let’s see how things go
What will it cost to attend a Meet & Greet? A: Taking into consideration that this type of event is akin to socializing at the highest personal level, offering celebrity access never before made available to the general public, plus the costs of celebrity appearance fee, boat rental, catering, crew, parking, clean-up and other miscellaneous items, we feel that a charge comparable to what many huge, non-catered comic-con events demand for admission, plus a few seconds of a hastened autograph and photo-op, we believe that we can offer the event to something in the neighborhood of around $200
